Comparative study of TL created in undoped CVD diamond by rays, UV and visible light

چکیده
The thermoluminescence (TL) properties of CVD diamond film irradiated with b rays and illuminated with UV and visible light (200–450 nm) have been studied. The film (23mm) was grown for 47 h on monocrystalline silicon. The TL glow curves are similar for b irradiation and short wavelength UV light. The b dose response curves and UV light time response curves exhibit linear–supralinear–sublinear behaviour. The structure of the glow curve was determined by a simultaneous deconvolution of a set of curves recorded after preliminary heating to various temperatures. One set of the TL peak parameters was found for all the curves during the deconvolution. The TL glow curves were found to consist of five strongly overlapped peaks. The peaks at about 350 and 400 K obey first-order kinetics. The next three peaks at about 480, 540 and 580 K are described well by general-order kinetics. The TL curves created with light of wavelength between 250 and 450 nm are different from those created by b radiation and short wavelength UV light. The former have low sensitivity and consist of several strongly overlapped peaks, two of them are observed at about 330 and 600 K.

Preparation of Cr-doped TiO2 thin film by sonochemical/CVD method and its visible light photocatalytic activity for degradation of paraoxon
In this work, nanostructured TiO2 and Cr-doped TiO2 thin films were deposited on glass substrate through sonochemical-chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. The resulting thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-visible absorption spectroscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy techniques. The TiO2 thin film has nanocubic morphology and ...

The thermoluminescence (TL), optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) and afterglow (AG) properties of chemical vapour deposition (CVD) diamond film irradiated by beta rays with doses from 0.5 to 1000 Gy have been studied. The film (23mm) was grown for 47 h on monocrystalline silicon. The TL dose responses are similar for all the peaks and exhibit the typical linear–supralinear–sublinear behavio...
متن کاملVisible light photocatalytic activity of MWCNT/TiO2 using the degradation of methylene blue
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT)-doped TiO2 thin films were synthesized by the dip-coating method. The obtained products were characterized by SEM, EDX, XRD, and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy. The XRD patterns showed the presence of anatase phase. Absorption spectrum of MWCNT-doped TiO2 revealed a red shift in the optical absorption edge due to carbon doping. The photocatalytic properties...

متن کاملPerformance improvement of polycrystalline diamond ultraviolet photodetectors by room-temperature plasma treatment
Enhancement of ultraviolet sUVd photoresponsivity in chemical-vapor-deposited sCVDd diamond photodetectors was observed by posttreatment in a plasma of oxygen and carbon tetrafluoride at room temperature. This room-temperature plasma posttreatment was found to be an efficient process in suppressing the extrinsic photoresponse of CVD diamond UV photodetectors in the visible region. Nearly four o...
